Nuclear power plants are expensive to build but cheap to operate. It is foolish to prematurely shut down nuclear power plants.
Meanwhile, we have nasty trade restrictions on solar cells and panels that began in 2012 under Obama and made worse under Trump and Biden. Artificially propping up the cost of solar electric power is slowing down the solarization of the US.
