We should be thankful that there is a rational informed alternative to groups like Environmental Defense, which no longer makes any pretense about serving the public interest. Tragic it is indeed, that the group that essentially stopped DDT in its tracks has gone over to the dark side and linked arms with industry and corporations. Luckily we have the Carbon Tax Center to debunk the industrial-strength distortions of ED and let the public know that ED and NRDC do not speak for the rest of the environmental community by a long shot. The hard job, however, will be in convincing our lawmakers of this. Meanwhile, people interested in supporting, monetarily or otherwise, the Good Guys won't find any place better than the Carbon Tax Center, which is braving the storm and making room for the blue skies to return. Their work will be of inestimable value to citizens fighting for a sound and sane energy policy. Trust it!
